Colic, Entrapment, Physical Injury

For All Breeds

• Foal coverage available after 7 days. Separate application required. Maximum 2.5 times Stud Fee.
• For optional Vet Fee Coverage, $2,500 is $250, $5,000 is 375
• Maximum coverage available On This Form is $10,000 per horse.

Vet Certificate Required For:

• All horses $1500.00 and over

Conditions of Policy:

• Policy Wordings Apply. Autopsy or Post Mortem Certificate required upon Death.
• We reserve the right to inspect the horse prior to insurance being bound.
• This insurance is not valid while horse is at the race track.

Vet Medical Will Not Cover For More Than The Insured Value Of The Horse To A Maximum Of $5000

Pleasure Horse Coverage

The following is an abbreviation of the coverage. Actual Policy wordings apply.

1. Fire, Explosion;
2. Windstorm or hail; hurricane;
3. Flood, meaning rising waters;
4. Earthquake; meaning collapse of buildings, bridges, culverts;
5. Falling objects directly striking the livestock;
6. Impact by aircraft or land vehicle;
7. Collision, derailment or overturn of a land vehicle;
8. Stranding, sinking, burning, or collision of marine vessels;
9. Vandalism or malicious mischief;
10. Riot; Riot attending a strike or civil commotion;
11. Or by theft, but excluding mysterious disappearance;
12. Accidental Shooting;
13. Lightning; Electrocution;
14. Blizzard, rain, sleet or snowstorm;
15. Drowning, excluding choking on their own internal fluids;
16. Attack by dogs and wild animals;
17. Rabies;
18. Entrapment;
19. Casting;
20. Hardware;
21. Colic;
22. Asphyxiation by smoke or fumes;
23. Physical Injury causing death or destruction, but excluding animal birth;

Note: Vet Coverage Only Applies to Emergency Service made necessary by the above perils.
Cost of trailering is not covered.

Liability Coverage

Liability Coverage protects you should your horse damage property or cause injury to a third party. The policy will cover the cost of legal and court settlements up to the policy limit.

Deductible

$100.00 Deductible on the First Claim and 25% Deductible on the second claim.

How Do I Apply?

Implementation is fast and easy. Print and complete the printable application, the online application or the pdf application and mail/submit with your cheque, payable to: Colley, Borland & Vale In Trust together with:

1. A dated, signed photo of your horse taken within the last 30 days
2. Bill of Sale
3. Vet Certificate dated within 30 days
4. Copy of registration papers.

Coverage NOT in effect until ALL documentation is received.
